In order to upgrade both the /pnfs and the /shome file service the T3 will be in scheduled downtime on Fri 23.09.2016 - 13:30-18:00

Details

In order to upgrade both the /pnfs and the /shome file service the T3 will be in scheduled downtime on Fri 23.09.2016 - 13:30-18:00 ; the upgrade plan will be roughly :

• < 13:30 al the T3 users have to logout from the UIs/WNs and stop all their Jobs.
• at 13:30 whoever/whatever will be found active will be logged out/stopped without any notice; the UIs/WNs might also be rebooted.
• > 13:30 both the /shome and the /pnfs file service will stop to work because of their upgrades.
• > 13:30 < 16:00 the /shome file service will restart to work and a 1st email will be sent ; the UIs/WNs will get available again, but not the /pnfs file service.
• > 16:00 < 18:00 the /pnfs file service will restart to work and a 2nd final email will be sent.
