26. 9. 2007 System status at beginning of CSA07

Worker nodes: We currently have 15 Dual Core Xeons (3GHz) and 24 Dubble Dual Core Opteron 2.5 GHz in operation, i.e. there are 126 job slots and CMS may use one third of these

Storage: We have three Sun Thumpers (X4500) with 24 TB each for all experiments. Deducting RAID loss and system disks brings this down to 18TB of usable space for the experiments and management VOs. CMS may use on the order of 22 TB during CSA07.

Here follow some typical usage plots of the system during the last two weeks:

Most of the wide area transfers are CMS PhEDEx transfers. We got commissioned for downloading from FZK, FNAL and for uploading to FZK.

Some of the CMS jobs show high transfer rates from the storage elements (using dcap).
