<!-- keep this as a security measure: * Set ALLOWTOPICCHANGE = Main.TWikiAdminGroup,Main.LCGAdminGroup * Set ALLOWTOPICRENAME = Main.TWikiAdminGroup,Main.LCGAdminGroup #uncomment this if you want the page only be viewable by the internal people * #Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = Main.TWikiAdminGroup,Main.LCGAdminGroup --> KeyWords: TWiki ---+ How to disable the WYSIWYG editor I've finally found how to disable the TWYSIWYG editor on the TWiki: just write: <verbatim> * Set TINYMCEPLUGIN_DISABLE = 1 </verbatim> Note that the line should be gin with *exactly* 3 or 6 spaces. The above line can be set in each of the following places: * A single page, in the comment header -- it will disable !TinyMCE for that page only. * A user's personal page (e.g., Main.RiccardoMurri), in the "Personal Preferences" section -- disables !TinyMCE for that user. * A web's "WebPreferences" topic -- disable !TinyMCE for all pages in the topic (unless overridden by a page-specific preference) * The TWiki-wide Main.TWikiPreferences page There is also an option to disable WYSIWYG editing based on certain topic content; e.g., WYSIWYG editing can be turned off for all pages containing =<pre>= tags (which !TinyMCE messes up): <verbatim> * Set WYSIWYG_DISABLE = pre </verbatim> (Same places as before.) The full documentation of the TWiki WYSIWYG editor can be found at: TWiki.TinyMCEPlugin ---++ Readers' comments %COMMENT{type="below"}%
