When a new T3 user is created then you have to run puppetd -t -v to get the /tmp and /scratch user quotas updated.

Emergency Measures

These UIs run a mdadm raid10, so they can survive with 1 disk broken, to fix online the broken disk adapt this procedure NodeTypeWorkerNodeS2600JF#Degraded_RAID1_or_Failed_RAID0

Installation

Because of the mdadm raid10 you're not suppose to reinstall these nodes, anyhow the Puppet recipes are :

• SL6.pp
• SL6_ui.pp
• tier3-baseclasses.pp
• and the partition/raid10 layout is /afs/psi.ch/software/linux/dist/scientific/64/custom/tier3/t3uisl6/ks-partition.cfg
