Summary

upgrade of WNs to SL5, reinstallation of batch system, another try at upgrading the dcache storage manager to 1.9.5-11

In short:

all the worker nodes have been upgraded to SL5
the old SL4 UI on t3ui01 stays the same, so that people can work with the old CMSSW releases and submit with CRAB. CRAB version for SLC4 builds is: /swshare/CRAB/CRAB
a new SL5 UI t3ui02 has been installed on a virtual machine: It can be used to work with the new SL5 CMSSW releases.
- Since CRAB is not yet compatible with the new SL5 glite-3.2 grid software release, the node uses a special glite-3.1 environment which will allow you to work with CRAB, but which may expose problems if you use standard grid commands. This is a temporary solution until CRAB is fully compliant with the new glite releases. CRAB version for SLC5 builds is
