11. 06. 2013 Constantly more than 250 PG DB connections

Today I'm trying to understand why there are so many PG DB connections to asses if this is somehow expected or not in dCache.

According to this pnp4nagios plot they were always pretty few, especially in the last weeks ( 28th March 2013 ) when we migrated dCache from 1.9.12 to 2.2; so I would raise them of 50 slots:

To dump the actual connections:

[root@t3dcachedb03 ~]# psql -U postgres -H -c "SELECT * FROM pg_stat_activity order by datname;" -o
/tmp/table.html
