---++ Grid middleware and experimental software
The worker nodes require some grid tools to be able to interact with SE (and maybe some other grid services). The grid tools are currently obtained via nfs from our central software server.  [[NodeTypeOLDNFSServer#Installation_of_the_grid_functio][Look there]] for installation instructions.

Use =/etc/security/limits.conf= to enforce some limits on number of processes and memory usage to keep the system stable, e.g.
