Annual power test at PSI on 07/08.01.2017

PSI will perform a power test on the aforementioned dates, meaning any T3 computing will be unavailable at this time.

Details

As every year, PSI will perform a power test in the beginning of January 2017, exactly on 07/08. This means all T3 services will be unavailable for this time, batch jobs will be killed.

The start/stop timeline will be the following :

A reminder email will be sent on Friday 6th.
On Friday 6th at 16:00 the T3 will be completely stopped.
On both all Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th till the 20:00 the T3 will be completely unusable.
Perhaps the T3 will be restarted already on Sunday 8th after the 20:00 by the T3 administrators.
But officially the T3 will be back in production on Monday 9th at 12:00 in order to have enough time to restart and check everything.
A final email will announce the T3 restart.
