- effect of ALPS R&D: we have realistic benchmarks for the machine from last year, but ALPS R&D affects the HS06 delivered

- GPFS licences not necessary anymore freeing resources

Q: What’s the long term strategy in case updates take ALPS down and can’t fall back to Daint ? A: (the question was triggered by the network) This was a particular case where net had to go down. Should be pretty rare, no fall back designed.
