Minutes:

ATLAS:

Bumpy month for both Bern and CSCS, mostly in the second part of the month

25% of jobs in state closed (not in failed / success)

In this period most of the jobs are heavy jobs from derivations and reco

(reco heavy because of large i/o and now derivation is almost as heavy as reco)

CMS:

Arc CE for CMS now stable

No more storage overflows, CMS fixed a wrong target occupancy configuration

Hammercloud now fixed

Difference in the factories queues between Daint and Fort. Riccardo: Pilot come and put in running state w/o going to idle. From the outside look different, need to understand better with Riccardo.

LHCb:

Two bumps of failed pilot jobs, both understood, one is Daint down and one it maintenance

LDAP problem came back but now it’s fixed

Not many jobs being submitted from LHCb (changed simulations)

CSCS:

Daint scheduled maintanance and a water valve failure.

Fort also suffered from a thunderstrom

arc decommissioning commissioning 4 arcs

Certificates provider: current provider of certificate is QuoVadis very inefficient and expensive / change provider. Contract signed with DigiCert (as recommended by EGI). We're in a transition period / certificate being delivered. QuoVadis will close by the end of the year / need to phase to the new CA now. 300CHF/cert instead 800 CHF/cert

Ceph arrived and being installed

Expecteed deployed capacity: 60 nodes for this year, 80 nodes for next year (total capacity 100)

Now that 50% on ALPS seems OK try to ramp up gradually and go beyond 100%

Confluence is being setup, abandon the twikis in favour of confluence
