• CSCS (reports Pablo):
  • Entering Phase E
    • Computing Expansion. AMD CPUs on all 10 Dalco nodes were updated to Interlagos, increasing the cluster capacity by 252 HS06 and 80 job slots.
    • Storage Thumpers substitution. All Thumpers are empty and switched off. Replacement has also provided some extra space, rising our total to 1.11 PB (base10), or 557 TB per experiment.
    • Lustre to GPFS migration. Lustre is finally out of our system, leaving us with GPFS only. No software raids, two copies per file, metadata in SSD.
  • Next purchase: Phase F worker nodes for the new building
