Administrative work

• Create a new entry in twiki with details from maintenance days.
• Inform Users on migration plan - target: 30/03/2010
• Take downtime window for 14/04/2010 12:00 UTC - 19/04/2010 12:00 UTC
• Fix fabric inventory with new IPs
• Remind VO Representatives to join the chat&test

Xen hosts in production

• Controlled by cfengine
• all hosts [11-17] prepared
• Everything working after reboot:
  • Access private networks
  • Network config permanent
  • Access Lustre

Computing part

• Head nodes working under xen (different names when needed)
  • lrms02
  • ce02
  • ce11 (will be replaced by ce01)
  • arc02
  • cream02
• Integrate Lustre on CE's
• rsync experiment software and software VO tags to lustre
• add CE's to site-BDII (production queues disabled) / add to GOC DB
• check GStat
• check GStat 2.0
• check SAM
• Execute in advance "downtime" script on ce01 to shut off the queues in time
• CPU temperature checks in nagios

Storage part

• Chimera migration test
• Space reservation migration test (can't be done)
• Prepare Thors filesystems
• Put Thors [30-39] into production
• Reboot Thors and check they work
• Prepare preproduction dCache instance (different names when needed)

Power consumption measurements

• Ask GPM for placing probes on Worker Nodes
• Make sure xen03 is measuring before the linpack test
