Migration to new twiki

Marcel Baur of endemic technology has been charged to port and operate the twiki for CHIPP and Phoenix.

The new twiki will be a copy of the old one and will be dedicated to contents relevant for CHIPP and Phoenix, thus all non relevant content will be deleted.

Two DNS entries will point to the twiki: wiki.chipp.ch and twiki.cscs.ch In future only adresses starting with wiki.chipp.ch should be communicated since twiki.cscs.ch will be disabled (in 6 to 12 months).

The layout/design of the wiki will also be modified and branded with the logo of CHIPP and possibly CSCS.

The twiki is being updated actively by different users, so we need to coordinate the move to the new location. We can stop updating the wiki for a week but no longer.

The persons involved in this project are:

Marco Consoli - Will be responsible for technical questions (will sign the technical acceptance)
Ladina Gilly - Signed the contract with Marcel Baur, will sign the acceptance of the final service
Pablo Fernandez - Is running the existing instance of twiki. Will represent the user requirements from the CSCS side.
Christoph Grab and Derek Feichtinger - Are user of the twiki for CHIPP. Will represent the user requirements from the CHIPP side.
Michele De Lorenzi - Will discuss aspects regarding the layout / design of the new twiki

For the porting I propose the following steps:

Installation of a twiki instance on a new server with the following settings (Marcel):
- Only authorized users can write
- Opening of new accounts must be authorized by administrator (to avoid unwanted content)
- Use of standard template / layout
First raw porting of some CHIPP contents on the new wiki by Marcel (ask Pablo for sysadmin access to existing server) (Marcel)
Registration of new twiki as wiki.chipp.ch (Marcel together with Christoph)
Customization of wiki.chipp.ch together with Marcel
- Functionality (Pablo, Derek)
- Layout (Michele, Christoph)
- Technical Aspects (Marco)

Once customization is finished

Stop changes on existing twiki (Derek and Pablo)
Porting of all contents on new twiki (Marcel)
Create the needed user accounts on the new twiki (Marcel together with Derek and Pablo)
Check if all contents are ok (Derek and Pablo)

If ok for production (final decision by Marco and Ladina)
Modify DNS to redirect twiki.cscs.ch --> wiki.chipp.ch (Marco)
Deactivate existing twiki (Pablo) [Pablo will create a copy of the existing twiki for any evenience]
