• • LHEP:
    • Old node replacement 90% complete
    • 80*48core nodes awaiting deployment (50kHS06)
    • Issues with 1 out of 3 ARC CEs (detailed in general T2 report)
  • UBELIX:
    • NTR, smooth operation, aside for one occurrence of ARC DTR stuck as well
      
      
  • UNIGE:
    • Nothing new to report
    • CPU efficiency is remarkably lower than normal ATLAS values

• Accounting ATLAS dashboard vs slurm: within 25% (abnormal, usually within 2%)
• Accounting CRIC vs slurm: -30% for WallClock, -40% for HS06
• Accounting CRIC vs ATLAS DDM storage: -N/A

• Transition from X509 to federated identities (AARC profile token)
  • complex scenario, but in a nutshell we can summarise it like follows for now:
    • Services
      • CEs to fully support tokens by the end of the year (Dirac for the job submission)
      • data management services (dCache, STORM, FTS, Rucio, Dirac) might need a few years before droppin X509/VOMS support

    • Migration of the VOs from VOMS to Check-in

      • transition period where both X509 and tokens can be used
      • delays in updating the GRID elements to the latest version compliant with tokens
      • not all if the middleware products can be compliant with tokens at the same time
      • the same VO has to interact with element supporting different authentications
        
        
  • Recent statement: expect need for x509 certificates at least until end of 2025
    
    
• New Benchmark to replace HEPSPEC06
  • Nothing new compared to last month
  • Comment from an insider: "HEPSCORE benchmark is still far from becoming a reality"
    
    
• New ARGO UI
